Ok, so my xbox is modded and I just bought some games yesturday and I'm trying to load them on my xbox. Not only is it not copying them to my hard drive, it's scratching the cd's with circles. I want to know if there is a way of copying my cd's directly onto my computer then FTP them to my xbox. Or if anyone else has an idea it would be a big help. Thanks

No, there's no way to read an Xbox game disc without an Xbox. Sounds like you may have to invest in a new DVD drive... or a new Xbox.

This guy is on his way to my house right now. He's going to sell me a samsung drive and install it for 75. Is that a good deal?

Yeah, not bad. You won't find it any cheaper than that I don't think. Not bad with the install. I wouldn't pass it up... Samsungs can go for a bit more than that. Just make sure it's functional before you pay him.

check you DVD tray to see what you have.
I read a few post where the Samsung are the drives scratching the discs.
I have a Samsung drive I picked up cheap but I’m not sure if I want to use it now.
Also I read something about the door stops opening.

Any properly functioning DVD drive will not scratch a disc.

Thanks alot guys, I also had a quick question, how does one go about finding "SMOR"? Just switch the letters around to find the real word. I'm new to this stuff and need to get some content for my "XOBX"

What he said. Don't request them here... even if you rearrange the letters.
