Would it be possible to use emulate the eeprom so that you could not get banned from xbox live?

The only way for doing something like this would be to replace your eeprom with a fresh copy--either by desoldering it and soldering in a new one or using configmagic.

ConfigMagic is by far the easier way, make sure you have the latest version and have at it. By the way there are many people selling fresh eeproms online, look around. [cough] Google.com [ahem]

be careful about this, many people *say* they are good, unbanned eeproms, but you never really know.

do you have 2 buy a fresh eeprom....or doesnt config have 1's allready 4 u 2 use

i dont know, but chances are if config magic supplies a eeprom with it, then all the copies of it have it. and if thats the case, then there are a bunch of people with the same eeproms, and i would bet MS checks for that.
