I use a soft mod/ save game hack to access my dashboards. I hooked up to Live about a week ago. Last night I ran UnleashX and did some stuff. Now when I try to connect to Live all I get is an error and an option to troubleshoot. When I troubleshoot I get this:

Your Xbox console cannot communicate with Xbox Live becuase the hardware or software may have been modified.

I was under the impression that as long as you use a game (I use Agent Under Fire) that did not connect to Live, M$ would not detect anything on your system. Am I screwed?

if the exploit is on your system when you log into xbox live it will do a hdd scan and detect it. that is probably why you were banned.

"cannot ocnnecT" doesnt necessarily mean your banned...

go to ms dash.. and make sure dna server is set to automatic, and ip is set to automatic.. sometimes unleash (under certain settings) can screw with general network settings..

just something to try.. u could always check your x and y codes, or whatever it is that tells you if you are banned for sure

am i generally screwed then? or will they ever lift the ban?
