Ok. So I got a little ahead of myself and rebooted my system....

Well I managed to get the new .xbe file on the box but failed to get the skin.xip on.

Now I get error 13.

Any ideas for recovery?

OK. I used the MA Exploit and made sure I copied it to the HD. I don't have my copy of the game atm but think I should still be able to boot off it directly. I will find out for sure after work...

I really just need to know what to do after I get into the game. Will I basically have to reimage my entire HD or will I be able to use a backed up version of my original thclite .xbe?

I know my worst-case scenario is that I pull th HDD and reimage it. I am just hoping for an easier fix.

Mech Assault allows you to FTP into your Xbox. Just ftp in and fix whatever it is that you did wrong.

Thanks guys. This is my first time around and has been a great learning experience. I make no apologies. IMO making mistakes is a sure way to learn. Fortunately, I made very few for my first Xbox hack, luckily I had enough forsight to put the MA exploit ont he HD.

I will get a copy of MA and use it to get into EvoX or UnleashX. I know what I need to FTP onto the box, just wasn't sure if I could get there.
