Do I need to telnet to my xbox to control it with a keyboared. .HOw do you set it up to I tried before but the xbox didn't recognise it. OR is there another way. I know that there is an adapter that you can install but i can't do that.

it all depends on what you want to do.
if you're hoping to use the keyboard as a remote then forget it, go and buy the DVD remote kit.
if you're hoping to be able to use the keyboard to type stuff in to the xbox, then forget it. buy a USB adaptor and Cheap USB keyboard,
the only thing you can use telnet for on the xbpx is to administer the mod chip and prob some other file based commands,
the only way I can telnet into my box is if it is running the Xenium os, wich means i can't do anything else at the same time.
so, in response to your question, don't bother, there really isn't any real point.

You do mean to say telnet, right? Like, you're not confusing telnet (which has very little meaning for an XBOX) with FTP, are you?
...no offense...

Sorry, not you Preston, rather him, the originator.
