Hi guys,
I'm really really confused with this question. I've asked my buddies, some of them say yes and some of them say no. I did a search on the WWW, saw quite a number of people with the mouse on XBMC thingie....
I tried creating the XBOX usb to PC usb converter but i can't seem to get a mouse pointer up ! What's the deal ?
Please englighten me. Thanks !!

It needs to be enabled. Check the settings. Can't remember where exactly tho

No setting is needed. If the mouse is there, it will be found and used - it's fully automagic. If you don't see the pointer, it isn't there (assuming of course that the skin you are using is up to date, as the mouse pointer is fully skinnable).
You either:
1. Don't have a new enough version of XBMC.
2. Don't have a new enough skin (the mouse pointer is skinnable - if the skin files not there, it might work but not show a pointer).
3. Don't have a mouse which is compatible (some aren't - particularly wireless ones which come as a mouse/keyboard pack)
4. You messed up the USB connection.
Cheers,
Jonathan

JayDee JayDee....help help help. It's the mouse thingy again. I'm very very sure that i didn't screwed up my Xbox to usb adapter that i soldered it. (I re-did it again). I've upgraded the XBMC to Version 1.10, i still can't get any mouse pointer. Tried with the Logitech MX mouse, the MS laptop mouse, Creative opticle mouse. (All USB)
Maybe you can tell me what is the model of the mouse that you're using and i'll go find it and try out...
Thanks !!

I use a MS "Basic Optical Mouse" (cheapest optical mouse MS sells) and it works fine.
