I have an executor modchip installed and I have this strange problem
It boots OK -- I play for a few hours with multiple in game resets to change games -- watch a divx and then all of the sudden after a reset / reboot it refuses to boot -- a couple of beeps and then red-green flashing. I does not freeze in the game or anything the problem is always after a reboot/reset. I did not move the xbox or anything just a reset like i did 15 times that evening and the 16 th time it just don't work anymore.
when I remove the mod and install the original hd -- no problems -- it boots up normally --
install back the mod + hd, it works for a few hours and then baaammmmm -- same problem
you would think when there is a bad solder point or a bad chip that it doesn't work at all or it crashes in a game but when it boots, it works just fine -- it's also impossible to open the dvd when it is flashing red / green
any ideas???
