No signing needed. Im using UDE2 also. You have to hexedit the xbe for all instances of "fonts" and change them to "f0nts", then your good to go. Remeber tHcDash.xbe needs to be renamed to evoxdash.xbe Any other questions just shoot am in here

Also, you have to put Xbox Book.xtf and Xbox.xtf in the root of C: renamed to .xft

I thought you couldn't softmod a 1.6? All the guides I'm reading on using Splinter Cell to do it say it doesn't work?

Yes you can, I don't know what guide you're reading, but it's probably for a different exploit that isn't compatible with 1.6's. UDE2 (Ultimate Dashboard Exploit 2) however, is compatible with all current kernel versions, including that in the 1.6 Xboxes.
Anyways, as for running THC with UDE2, hex edit to use f0nts instead of fonts, although you don't need to rename it to evoxdash.xbe

I got it to work on my buddies 1.6, if I remember right you have to hex edit THC's default.xbe to look for the /f0nts folder (just like what you have to do to get the m$ dash to work with a softmod)

I installed tHc original on a UXE exploited 1.6 last night. I just used the installer disc, moved the xbe to the dashboard folder and renamed it to default.xbe
