Trying to upload data using any ftp client is stopping after the first 512 bytes. Tried FlashFxp, WS_FTP, webdrive and win cmd line version, no luck.
My new HD installed nicely from Copy action in evox.ini, but through ftp the write to xbox is impossible. This should mean that the IDE cable is okay as well I guess?
Creating dirs, deleting (if cmd is DELETE not DELE) through ftp is ok.
I'm pretty sure the network is okay, if I plug a pc using same cable no problems.
Any ideas, I'm about to give up!!
evox D.6 bios, Matrix, xbox 1.0, 120G WD

Make sure that your filenames arent too long....if you transfer a directory and one file in the directory has an oversized filename (64+ characters i think) the transfer will fail.

I'm trying to transfer regular files copied from the xbox in the first place so name shouldn't be a problem
Forgot to mention that I've tried passive mode and not passive, without any difference. Also in most cases the file gets written with 0 bytes.

WS_FTP never worked for me, it would time out b4 it connected, so i just used the Internet Explorer ftp by typing
| CODE |
| ftp://xbox:xbox@[ip here] |
into the address bar.
Yeah i know it's unprofessional but it always worked for me no problem where my favorite ftp client didn't, so i havn't fooled with anything else.... Try it, i have exactly the same setup as you.
