Halo is the BIGGEST game there is on the planet. No doubt about that. It is just as good as Star Wars KOTOR made by Bioware. But my question is this, Would Halo actually be better if they brought it on the BIG Screen?


I would really like to here your output for this. Maybe if we combin together and present this ont he net to BUNGIE they could consider making a movie for the fans of Halo. Another thing do you guys think that it would be better if it were rated R or PG 13?

it should only be made with lots of Human vs Covenant vs Flood action....

and NOT turn out ot be a movie like House of the Dead

im very much against videogame to movie ideas for one simple reason... compared to most movies, video game stories suck... halo had a pretty good story for a fps, but turn it into a movie? there is ONE twist... not really that compelling if your just watching...

it would turn into a crappy avp ripoff, which should never happen...

Yeah, and the studios would probably pick somebody like The Rock to star in it. Just leave it a video game....please.

Way to many points even if they do make a movie. Too many conflicts and everything. Only movies I like that were made from games were Resident Evil and Tomb Raider.

i think a movie along the lines of "fall of reach" can be good though. And perhaps it could link to the game. of course, it really depends on how this movie would be made...it most likely will turn out to be a crapfest.

I'd rather see Metal Gear Solid or Splinter Cell turned into a movie...unless Halo 2 throws out enough material that just possibly might make it interesting enough to toy with a movie idea.

R. Lee Ermey (sp?) would definately have to be cast as the colonel, no question about that.

plus it wasnt good, it was the movie equivalent to a game with good graphics but horrible control...

i thought splinter cell had a great story for a movie, but i wouldn't know how it would turn out.

Only if James Cameron is involved and Bungie works with him on creating a movie version script. Try to create a new story and create a game to continue that new story. Big budget and Pg-13 would work , hard R would be wonderful but Hollywood is a business and creativity is always but on the back burner so PG-13 could work.

i herd there is a new final fantasy movie based off one of the games, but i can't confirm this.

yeah theres that one from japan that has cloud and such... only seen a few screens of it though...
