I've managed to get my box modded. I'm running Avalaunch,
but I am interested in checking out other dashboards.

I had a friend of a friend set up my xbox for me. Since
then I've figured out how to work most of Avos features and
applications, and how to ftp to my PC. (Thanks to this site!)

The problem I am having is finding other dashboards. I'd like
to check out Evox, but I can't get my hands on it. I'd ask my
friend to talk to his friend (the guy who set it up for me) but
they're not getting along anymore. This means I have no resources.

I also can't get my xbox to play DVD's. When I try it's scrambled
and goes berserk on me. I figure this can be solved with the
appropriate application also. which brings me to the same problem,
how can I get it?

I realize that most people are not going to be willing to answer
this question for fear of . . . you know.

just thought I'd give it a shot. It's frustrating having a modded
xbox that I can't experiment and play around with.

its against forum rules to ask for files, so the best i can tell you is the "usual places"
