hey i have done a foolish thing. i wanted to see if i could move my "apps" folder to the E drive from the F drive and now i cannot launch any applications, but i do have the backup in the E drive. Please give me some guidence on how to recover the console. After the incident i can not acces any file explorer on the hd, therefore i am unable to transfer the apps folder back to the f drive. PLEASE HELP

you could create a boot disk with boxplorer on it and run from that.

or as g0tr3wt23 said just FTP onto your machine and move the folder back to its original location

Yep, i created a boot disc, cause my computer doesnt support ftp. All is good now.

Ummm, just out of sick curiosity how can your PC not support FTP?


Are you runing an Intel 8080 Processor. FTP is part of the original IP protocol that was made before I was even a thought in my parents heads. You just need a client to FTP, and a NIC card. Most of the Dashboards support it, and if you need a client, I reccomend FileZilla for *insert operating system here* varity, since it is a sourceForge.net app, it is free, and avaliable for just about every operating system in a binary form, or if you are truly hardcore, you could compile it yourself.

Only thing is, remember to set the system to a Active mode, not Passive.
