Found a site that have a new chip that supports Xbox Live features.

Does that mean I can play a US Xbox game on Xbox Live!

Can sum1 plz help me on this topic.

I wanna play imports on my Xbox but at the same time, I want to play all my originals through my Xbox. Is there ne software/hardware that will allow me to play my UK games online yet still play my US games OR play both my US/UK games online without me forking out money to buy a NTSC Xbox.

You should read up on the chip info. I think those xbox live features are usually just to prevent getting banned (it won't let you connect to xbl with the chip on). No matter what, you can not play on live with your mod on. Thus, if you can only play imports with the mod on, you can not play them on xbl. However, you can change your xboxes region and turn the mod off. Then you might be able to play them on xbl, but I have never tried it.

the only way to play both UK and US origials on Live is to change your xboxs region with configmagic everytime you want to switch game regions (thats the only way to allow the different region games to boot with chip disabled)

There is a solution then. If I bought a mod-chip, would i have to buy a specific one and then load configmagic through the BIOS???

Ok. but then i would also need to get a copy of configmagic and make sure that the chip is disabled. Is there ne way i can prevent the xbox going live if the chip is on or do i have to be extra careful. I always thought that they can ban the xbox even if the chip is disabled.

You will have to chip it (any chip that is compatible with your xbox will work), flash the bios, and get a new dash. I know that slayers auto-installer has config magic along with other useful apps. If you have a 1.0 or 1.1, you can flash the tsop and install a switch, and it will work just as well as a modchip. You will have to be careful not to connect to xbl with the mod on, or you will get banned.
