Is there any software to put a password on your Xbox HDD? So like when it boots to EvoX, a screen comes up saying enter password. Is there such thing?

Thx, dan

xselect V0.6 has password protection but u would have to rename xselect to whatever ur evox dash is and rename evox to something else so u will be able to launch it.

You could also use yalx.ebx. It will ask a password for anything that uses a .xbe to launch/boot.
For evox, you would rename "evoxdash.xbe to yalx.xbe" You would then rename the original "yalx.ebx to evoxdash.xbe". I know it sounds a bit confusing, just do a search for "yalx.ebx" download it, and read the directions. It'll make more sense.

I believe the dashboard UnleashX has password protection. Check the tutorials in their forums to confirm.

UX does indeed have a very good password protection system, either from within the menu or in the config.xml.

And, those apps are there, if you can’t find them try a RAW site search for the terms (if you’re using FlashFXP, just connect to xbins and press Ctrl+R for the raw command menu and type “SITE SEARCH xxxx” without and quotes and where xxxx is the whatever you’re looking for).

Or was is SEARCH SITE….. oh, you’ll figure it out.

If your client is not FXP, just check the Help of your client for how to enter raw commands.
