I have the latest version of XBMP and Relax 0.71 running fine, and it plays shoutcast feeds no problem. I can also go to winamp radio and play feeds and write down the info from the feed and cut/paste into an mp3 text file, and that plays as well.

What I can't figure out, is how to get the shoutcast info (server ip, port, and path) to a stream that is coming in from a web plugin or some other program that is used by a website to play a radio stream.

For example a local radio station that I listen to here is available to listen to through their website. The problem is that they use their own player/plugin to stream the feed. Nowhwere in this app can you see the details of the feed coming in. I want to know if there is a way to extract this info. Perhaps using netstat or some derivation of it to see exactly where the remote feed is being streamed from.

I hope someone understands what I am asking for. This seemed like the only logical place to ask.

open the mp3 with winamp, then get the information from, theorically, you get the ip then preceding with : is its port and the folder.....the timeout is set according to you

Thanks, but that part I know. I am running winamp on my pc and connecting to various streams at winamp radio. I right click on the stream and click file info and all the info is there. That is not where I am having a problem. My problem is that I want to listen to radio stations that are broadcasting using a web page or webplugin. For example alot of radio station use chaincast. The small plugin player will play the stream fine, but there is no way to find out where the stream is coming from (ie ip address, port, etc)
