Full Version: Flash Bios Via Network?

can anyone tell me step by step how to flash with the network thing? how does it work, ive never networked a bios before.
Install chip, make sure it works, boot up, flashbios will give you 3 or 4 options at the bottom left of your screen, highlight *flash via network*
It will give you an IP address (if your hooked up to your network)
Go to the PC where you have your X3 bios that you downloaded from the "usual places" (on the same network) pull up your favorite browser, type in the IP address that shows on your screen (192.168.0.3 or whatever) in your address bar hit enter and it will prompt you to upload your bios.
Hit the browse button, locate the bios you downloaded, hit flash, watch your TV screen, it will give you a loading bar, when it finishes it will reboot or you will need to reboot it yourself.
Your done.
