I have a version 1.6 Xbox and I am pretty sure I have an M8 v1.6 BIOS. However I have checked the list of hashes for that BIOS and can't find any that match mine.
I have checked mine in the evox.ini file under Current= and I have searched everywhere and have yet to find a match.

I am at work now so I don't have the hash value handy from my evox.ini file but if someone happens to have the M8 v1.6 BIOS hash handy and could post it here then I could compare it to mine when I get home to determine FOR SURE whether my BIOS is in fact the M8.

I am only asking because I am a naturally curious person and also I believe it is a good idea to know exactly what my modded Xbox has as far as BIOS is concerned.

Just an update...

I went to the 'usual places' and used EvTool and an M8_16 BIOS .bin file to get the MD5 (Hash) and I am pretty sure that it does not match mine. I am still at work and basing this on memory but I don't believe mine started at all like the hash value that EVTool gave.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention this so you all wouldn't think that I wasn't trying to find out the answer on my own.

Still can't find a match though.
