Today I decided to reinstall my xecuter 2.3b lite chip via wire install because i had been having problems with the chip staying on during the pin install. I had been playing it before the install and it was fine. After I finished the wire install it frags and then goes to the error screen but there isn't any error # shown. The chip also has both blue lights on and the green led on the switch also works. When the xbox boots, the place where it normally displays xecuter has disappeared making me think this is a prob with the chip. any ideas?

Make sure that the chip is grounding correctly and you have the grounding wire firmly in place. Also, check over your soldering and make sure you dont have any splashes. Other than that, it does sound like its a bad chip.
