Ok, I plan to upgrade it from a 120 GB to 250, but I need to know one thing. Do I just switch the Harddrives, put in a disk with all the apps/dashboards on it and install them and I'm done? The reason I ask is because I had someone on this board do it for me and he gave me a disk with all the apps/dashboards needed. I also have a chameleon modchip, if that's necessary. If I can, can you recommend me a 250GB harddrive?

There is a lockability list of hdd's around here somewhere which will tell you the hdd's that can be locked if you wanna use the m$ bios/dash and XBL.

Also if you want any of your game saves/transfered music, etc then you will need to backup some of ur old hdd first. Then yea you can use the disc to format the new hdd and install everything for you.

If the disc you have doesnt have the otpions to format a new hdd then I would suggest you try Slayers auto-installer.
