Okay, been playing with my chip this last week, installed my dash, replaced my dvd drive, got everything working finally and for some reason, just overnight (no one touched it) when I go to turn it on, the chip is acting like it is diabled.. red control panel leds and boots to M$ dash with no errors.

None of the solder points are bad, the d0 is perfect (worked flawless last night, no one touched it since) what could be causing this?

did my chip die?

What can I check to troubleshoot this problem?

Can you boot to the backup 256k flashrom? Try hold both power and eject and see if this comes up. I know the button is very touchy maybe you are holding it a bit too long.

Yeah, I thought I was holding the button too long untill I just barely tapped if for a nanosecond, still booted to M$ dash.

I tried booting to the X3 bios by holding down the white button and it wouldent work.

Ill try booting by holding pow+eject and see what happens and post my results.
