How much of the case sheiding can i remove as i wish to do some uv mods to a crystal box.

I've heard of ppl takeing out all of it but I think u need the bottom piece for ground.

Everything, you can take all shielding out. Not being a d1ck, but this has been posted so many times before. Next time, please, make an attempt to find other posts that may pertain to your question.

The shielding is just their to help keep the xbox from intercepting radio interference. It is completely safe to take out. I have all my shielding out on both of my xboxes and inbetween a set of speakers and have not had any problems, but if it is sitting on top of the speakers it could cause problems.

Unless, of course, you live in an area where there are constant RF (Radio Frequency) Signals (Near an airport, etc.). If that's the case, you're probably better keeping most, if not all of the shielding in.

I take the top piece out of all my boxes and then if I need the space I'll dremel a piece out of somewhere in the bottom/side piece..

you can take out everyhting, every xbox i mod i take all of it out, damn this is asked so much
