My friend modded my xbox using the audio hack a long time ago but now he's at college and I wanna use the UDE hack now cuz botting into the audio hack is a pain. I'm trying to figure this out for myself since he's gone. So can I use Slayer's 2.5 disc to restore the HD and then follow the rules in the UDE tutorial? Also, I got a v1.0 xbox and one more question....is it possible to mess up the UDE install since im a newb? Thanks for your help if you can offer it.

You don't need to restore the HD, as the audio exploit's only dashboard related change is the ST.DB in E: (which the UDE doesn't touch). Anything's possible, so make sure you backup C: and your eeprom first eh...
