I have a xbox that was flashed directly with the x2 bios. Not exactly sure what version. But my problem is it has been working fine for months and no when I let my little nephew play it it will only go into black and white with no color. I have tried to search through the menu options to see if there is a settng that was changed or had to pertain to color with no success. I am wondering if this could be software or a hardware problem. Is there something in the evox.ini or anyhting that could be used to change the color back? Thanx in advance.

you have to go to enigma video mode switcher and switch is BACK to pal or were ever you live.

But, the screen is probably rolling like a freighttrain, right? If you can make out the text, go ahead and find the Enigmah Video Mode Switcher.

If you just can't go to "the usual places" and get the Enigmah Bootdisc from (I believe) the Utlilties sections. The RAR name is video_switch_2.rar I think, or something very similar. Just burn that image (xISO) with Nero or your app of choice.

Franky the simplest way is to post your evox.ini here, and we can tell how to navigate through the Evox menu basically blindfolded to get to the Video Mode Switcher...

Ah, good call. I guess I've just never seen anyone with a video mode problem that wasn't a rolling blur...
