I have been told many times that it cant be done but theres been lots of things that were supposedly not able to do but then BAM we have lift off.......anyways, will there ever be a PS2 emulator? IM JOKING!!!! laugh.gif

I really wanted someone to explain to me why we cant have games streamed with relax and what would happen if we tried to? how hard would it be to attempt to set it up? what would need to be done to the relax program to accept an xbe file?
I know someone told me that the network couldnt stream it fast enough but what if it cashed it onto the xbox hard drive like when your about to stream a movie.

Won't happen. Think about it - you need a client running on the xbox to connect to the ReLaX server. A game, however, will require all the memory and processor, as they haven't been designed to run with background tasks.

Because once you start the game you lose the connection to relax. When xbmp plays the movie it doesn't quit xbmp to play the movie so all the streaming code exists in xbmp. Games have no idea how to stream they are all considered local. Xbox can't run more than 1 xbe at a time so it can't work. POSSIBLY to do a bios hack to allow a remote drive via streaming but with 256-1MB may be too small.

So it will never happen they eh? shitty.

what could be done however, would be to write a program to "stream" the game to the hdd, then launch it, and the next time the program is run it could delete the game.. but that would be kind of pointless..
