Just got done flashing to latest bios. Thank goodness that went through without issues. Anyway, looking around in the menu and noticed two options under disk tools...

1. Current Hard Drive Setup
2. New Hard Drive Upgrade

What do these options do? I actually have to setup a new harddrive so wondering what #2 does.

hello. did you find out how to use the #2 option. im actually having some trouble with that. is it simply turn off the xbox, plug in the new HD and run "new hard drive upgrade"? mine just wont boot to the X3 bios dammit. thanks

not booting to config live? maybe it's not set to be on every time u boot up, so you'll have to press white button when the X comes up.

the first option just lets you do things to your current HDD...such as clear the cache, format partions and lock the HDD...
