A couple years ago I modded my xbox with the 29 wire mod. I purchased a flashed rom, on the receipt it says it's an Evox 2.2 chip.

I have had problems backing up some of my new original games Some new games seem to work, while others won't. I've burned a dvd-r, and try the dvd-r in a pc dvdrom drive connected to my xbox. I've also tried copying the games to the harddrive, additionally patching the xbe's using craxtion.

Anyway, just curious if someone knowledgeable could comment on what modchip I'm using relative to what's out there. Also, if games not running have something to do with the modchip I'm using, what would be the ideal upgrade path/method.
