Have done a new mod on my second xbox. Using xecuter 2.6 lite with M8 bios on a Ver 1.0 xbox. used Evox boot disk and formatted new 200gb hard drive. Transfered Avalaunch dashboard via Flash xp. I tranfered the C and E backup copied from original 8gb drive as well, but even tried not copying these files as well. Avalaunch loads fine but when I go to file manager and launch DVD2xbox or even XBMC, Avalaunch asks if I want to launch the app, I select yes, and then is says, "loading" but then freezes from there. Any suggestions? Haven't had this happen before.

FTP into your xbox and go into E:\CACHE and delete the files you see in there

You problaly have what is call the hanging flu for the xbox
Ok i had the same problem just read this tread, You just need to flash bank 2 with M8-16.

OK will give that a try, but before posting, I even tried a fresh format, and only ftped Avalaunch and dvd2xbox app. It booted and then added E:/TDATA and UDATA folders on its own. I didn't even have a Cashe folder. I added an empty one and will try that. If that doesn't work, I will do a fresh format, copy my original C and E backup on the new drive, then delete the contents of E:/Ceche, then add avalaunch and dvd2xbox app.

Thanks Tooby, that fixed it. Flashed with 1mb M8 and all is well. Seems same problem exists with executer lite 2.6 as well when used with ver 1.0 xbox.
