Hello all,
I recently modded my Xbox with ldots 1.75.
I have trying to FTP into my Xbox with no luck.
I'm using LeapFTP as my client and it keeps timing out.
I have spent hours reading forums, guides, and playing around with different settings with no luck.
From a command prompt I have tried to ping the Xbox using xbox (as the host name) and the IP address displayed by Evox all to no avail.
I am using a cable modem connected to a Linksys wireless router.
All firewalls/antivirus applications have been turned off.
The Xbox connects to the router via ethernet cable.
My settings are as follows:
Xbox
Type: DHCP
IP: 192.168.1.103
Line Status: 100/Full Duplex
Setup Network: Yes
Use Static IP: No
IP: 192.168.1.103
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: 0.0.0.0
DNS: 0.0.0.0
Setup Delay: 0
Skip Setup If No Network Link: No
PC
Ipconfig/all returns the following:
IP Routing Enabled: No
WINS Proxy Enabled: No
DHCP Enabled: Yes
Autoconfig Enabled: Yes
IP Address: 192.168.1.101
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DHCP Server: 192.168.1.1
DNS Server: 167.206.3.179
167.206.3.245
167.206.3.178
Any help (really specific please) would be greatly appreciated as I'm at the end of my rope here!
Thanks in advance...

change
IP: 192.168.1.103
to
IP: 192.168.1.3
static IP = YES
also turn off any firewalls and antivirus programs you have

I'm confused though.
If I change the settings above in the Evox dash then the Xbox IP address won't match what the router says it should be when I look at the router's DHCP client table.
Is that correct?
Thanks again!
