Lately my xbox has been not working properly. When ever I play a game or watch a movie the HD makes a turn-off sound/click and everything freezes. Also my Thompson hardly ever reads game discs, when it does they usually frezzes or doesn't load right.

Can anyone help?

check your c:drive maybe mine was slowing right down , delete some skins it was fine !!!!!! but as for your dvd rom it just drity try cleaning disc, or better yet u could get a dvd buner

um you can put a dvd burner in, but a replacement dvd drive would fix it.

Yea I'm probably gunna buy a new lens but wat about the HD shutting off. I know its not the temperature cuz i have the fan running on 12v

@the DVD drive: Thomsons suck. replace/clean lens/tweak pot...
@the HDD: The Xbox won't run if the drive is say over 80% full. Be aware of that.

I've never heard of xbox's not working with a full hdd. Are u sure this is tru because mine has only 1.5 gigs on :f and 4 gigs on :e out of 160 gb
