I have just received my X-ecuter mod-chip, and I was looking at the diagrams on how to install. I have two QUESTIONS:

1. I saw the picture on how to switch to the original, but I do not understand how the picture works. Do I need a switch?

2. Also do I have to soder that U shape part of the X-ecuter to the big circle part of the motherboard?

Thanks for reading, and thanks for your reply's cool.gif

1. No you do not need a switch if you do not want to be able to switch from the retail bios to the x-ecutor bios.
2. Yes you do have to solder the u shaped part to the grounding screw plate.
Hope this helped

Thanks for the reply and also I was wondering how do you make a SWITCH. Do I need to buy a switch at Radio Shack or do I just have to soder the wires a different way?

Thanks cool.gif

You have to buy an actual switch from Radio Shack and connect it's terminals (using wires if you want to mount the switch remotely) to the two pads the arrows point to on the Xecuter.

Hope this helps. cool.gif
