Hello everyone, I have a Modchip in my Xbox with EvoX installed on C. The Game backups and everything are in F, but what are the most important thing you have to know before you go on live with a modded chip? Can MS ban me because I have other files on C? Or is the only thing you have to do before going on Live is turning off your Chip?

As far as I know turning off the chip is the most important thing. There is some discussion on whether having other files on the "C" drive gets you banned but I still have yet to see and real proof. And you do realize that you cant play "backup" games on live. Other than turning off the chip I dont think you should have a problem, and if you do, look around in the B/S/T forum and get a new EEprom

I've never been banned from live. I have EvoX on my C drive but I always have the chip off when on live. So it doesn't look like having files on C makes any difference, at least if you've not been banned before. If you do get banned, maybe they do scan C but there is no hard evidence of this yet.

You may get banned if you alter/remove any stock files/folders. The only exception being adding/removing/altering game profiles in E:\UDATA. Do not alter E:\TDATA as this contains game settings, dlc etc., as MS may think you are cheating (by altering car settings in pgr2 or pirating dlc).

Check these forums regularly as banning mechanisms do change and MS may start scanning for EvoX etc.
