I have been using the Krater code for my icons in lite for several months, but now that I have reached over 70 icons some of them don't appear.

It seems as though the first 15 or so icons listed in my default.xap (in icons.xip) are the ones that aren't showing up.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so is there any fix/workaround?

p.s. - has anyone tried this code with xbox dash next beta 1.1? wonder if icons would work with in that one...

hi, ive never used the icons but on a similar note i've just found the limit for the amount for backgrounds.

dunno if this will helpful at all but if u have any with transparency replace em for ones without and that'll give you more space.

just out of interest - how big is yr .xip?

My icons.xip is 796 KB (815,208 bytes).

None of the icons have transparency, as far as I know (each is one is only a 10KB .xbx)

All of them used to show up great, until I got passed around 70 icons, and now some of them don't appear.

It probably has something to do with the "limit", like you said...

Hopefully we can figure this out.

Haven't tried it with so many icons, but I suppose it's related to the "white tabs" bug or the limit on backgrounds...
Anyways, just wait for UIX

yeh, its wierd right,

i can push my skin xip to about 8 megs before it skitzes wit _relatively_ low file count. your're xip is only small but lots of files seem to spin it out? Im sure the uix team know precisley wots happenning there and in uix it will hardly matter, nevertheless, would still be interesting to know exactly what the deal is...
