Few points......
Some Linux distros are just as userfriendly as Windows. And that site is great....

Sigh...
...windows never makes users recompile the kernel.
Additionally, 99% of BSODs are the result of user error.

No it doesn't. The XP BSOD is actually helpful, and tells you exactly where the problem came from.

there is a setting in XP that tells the system to reboot when there would normally be a BSOD.. so i think you goto system properties and uncheck the checkbox, then youll start to see a few bsods

| QUOTE (Linux Xp site) |
| When you buy Linux XP for only $1000, you'll get the right to use it for one year. After the period has expired, you'll have to buy the newest version of Linux XP and another one-year-license for $1000. If you don't buy, you'll have to pay $1700 the next time you upgrade, instead of $1000. |

You're about half right. By default, XP does automatically reboot when a BSOD error occurs. The cause of most BSODs (BSs OD?) however, is USER ERROR. I have the automatic restart disabled on my XP machine, so I can see what exactly caused the BSOD, and I haven't had a blue screen error in over a year (since I uninstalled some bad software).
