All he has to do is make a slight change to the design and no problems. I am quite sure a person would look into this before he started a company.

Listen, I'm not a laywer, but you should recognized that this could easily be argued in court. AND I don't really care what you do with your business, I'm not here to cause you any harm over that matter.

But what I see is that this design is using easily recognizable intellectual property (and not in a flattering way for Sony!) in a commercial context.

If what you said about it being one single logo, then I guess I could start a shoe company named "Nike!" and make publicity along the lines of "Just do it, sucka" and I would be safe?

I've done a lot of research and since I am not using their logo as my own, not packaging my products with their lables, and not claiming it is endorsed by anyone but myself, I do not violate any copyrights.

I don't know much about that logo itself, but the companies that makes those other ones pissing on other brands pays royalties or a one time fees for rights to use their design if that image is even copyrighted or trademarked. If you made those to use for yourself then it's fine, but selling them for a profit when the logos are clearly an image of the original trademarks are a violation. I'd be a little careful, imagine if Sony sees that you've pissed on them!

Ya that Calvin Pissing on the PS is still a copyright violation.

Our manufacturer handles all copyright issues.
They have the legal right/license to distribute "some" products that contain known logos and symbols. I am simply a reseller. They would not sell me something that would leave their company in jeopardy.

Which is why we are unable to fulfill all jewel requests.

Just like a lot of decal retailers, we are not responsible for the licenses.
Our manufacturer is. How do you think a lot of companies "drop ship" products?
Their supplier handles all legal issues.

Installing a mod chip is not loved by retailers OR M$, so why all this drama about jewels?
