hello people,

A couple of days ago i wanted to reeplace my retail HD with a my old ''quantum fireball lct20 40'' (40GB), but when i put everything right and started the xbox it gave HD error 9 and slayers wouldnt load! I'm almost sure that i have a V1.1 Xbox and modchip is lpc-mod and bios unknown!

does anybody know what i did wrong or what i have to do to get my new HD going???

Most likley a faulty hard disk. My advice would be to try a new hdd and if that works get a refund on your 40gb hdd.

OK i got it to work now (foolish mistake)! But FTP-ing is slow
IS it the HD or the something alse that makes it slow cause on the original HD it didnt go slow at all!

It shouldn't make any differance. I use flashfxp and get between 5-6 meg transfers. If you are using flashfxp make sure it's set up properly, there are plenty of tuts available, also I have had problems with firewalls, try turning them of to see if that helps with transfers speeds.
