Ive got a locked drive that i cant get to without usin a boot disc and so i was wonderin if i could unlock the drive while ftp'ing using raw commands or w/e, i have the unlock key too.

Use xboxhdm, I dont think there are ftp commands for unlocking an hdd. What bootdisc are you using? Its possible to unlock and hdd from an Evox bootdisc.

really?? o well i flashed my eeprom w/ a bad 1 so i got flashin red, and the only way i can get to evox is with a homemade bootdisc with the config file and xbe. the problem i face is that since im running it from a disc, i cant use any apps or games or else i get an error 21

If you have the evox.ini file configured correctly, you will have the Lock and Unlock hard drive options available. It has always worked for me.

i got the menu options to lock and unlock hdd but i dont think it worked. it looks like its doing sumthin but then its still locked
