Ok, I'm working on putting a laptop hard drive under the DVD-ROM drive in my X-Box, and it obviously has 44 pins. I've seen the adapters for this, but there arn't any places around my area that sells them, and I'd rather not order a $5 part and spend $5 on s/h as well. So I was wondering if somebody could draw up a little schematic of one in paint, and possibly a pinout diagram. I've searched the hell out of Google for plans for making one, and I havn't turned up so much as a whisper. Please give me any input you can.

you wont be able to make one... unless you have huge balls... casue they are cross wired and all... it may seem straight through... but some pins have power going throug thm and all... if you have voltage going through the wrong pin good buy hard drive.. pay the 10$ and guarantee yourself a working HD
