does anybody know how to copy xbox games directly onto hdd using pc instead of xover cable(to slow)

I'm assuming that you mean you want to copy games from the dvd-rom to the xbox dvd w/o having to first xfer to pc. Here's what I do:

1) Install BoxPlorer on the xbox HD.

2) Switch to the partition you want to xfer the game to (use the start button to bring up a list of partitions and drives). Press the white button and select "new directory." Create one to xfer the game to (you can also do this part over FTP. Much easier).

3) Press the right trigger to switch panes. Again press start and select the D drive.

4) Use the X button to select everything on the D drive (it will automatically select all folders in the parent). Press the white button and select "copy." Make sure that the "from" and "to" are correct. Hold down both triggers and press start. In a few minutes, the game will be on your Xbox.

I've found this much easier for when I want to backup friend's games at their house (no need for a LAN or ftp client).
