What's the easiest procedure for re-using and xbox 8gig drive and setting it up for pc use on an xp machine ? I've got an 80 gig in the xbox now... the original 8 gig is sitting in a draw... should I put it back in the xbox use congig magic to unlock.. but the what... will xp easily reformat the drive or will the xbox op system confuse xp?

unlock the HD and make it a slave drive to burn your shit on that drive. you should format the drive using windows XP setup disk and just delete teh partitions on the drive. that way you can format in windows xp
