this is a question regarding the watt and the tolerance of the resistors. i go to radioshack and buy my resistors there and on the packages they have different watt and tolerances. what is the difference between the 1/2 watt and 1/4 watt and also what is the tolerances for?

If you were going to run a tri-color LED which had say 2.8v for red and 2.5v for green and you were going to run it off of 3.3v you would need a tolerence of 0.8v or +/-5% or something to that effect. I'm kinda new to this too
