Ok here's the deal....I have my Xecuter 2.6 Lite installed on my xbox v1.6. I had it installed with the newest m8 bios apparently. Ok so now I am trying to install my dashboard, so I have put evox onto disk by gathering the files then creating and iso (image). Burnt to CD-RW tried it several times and it loads with the purple evox triangle in the top left hand corner and then the xbox writing apears shortly followed my MS at the bottom. Then I get the "xbox cannot recognise this disk.....". So I thought this might be a 'bad' disk, so I tried a DVD-R and the same thing happened. Ok, so I thought I may have a 'bad' version of Evox so I then try
the same thing with Slayers Auto Installer v2.6 the same thing happens. Can anyone see anything wrong here? Please help I really want to get things going.

make sure you have an 1.6 and not 1.6b!

and when you put the evo disk in is the chip tured on? (green light on chip not red)

did you install it yourself? what brand dvds/cd are you using?

How do I find whether I have a 1.6b or 1.6? I used Bulkpaq for my DVD-R and Memorex for my CD-RW. Not I got my chip installed professionally. Any more help man ?

get yourself some "Ridisc" if you can, you xbox will read it with no problems!

dont worry about your xbox version if some one els installed it for you unless you dont trust them. and didnt they installed the dashbaorde?

stand up, turn egscatly 156 digrees then run for 2 miles turn your head around 3 times and jump up and down, if you have done this correctly the dvd will just fall from the sky!
