Well kind off. I've just not had enough time to finish this project. It's been an off and on thing for about that long.
I finally got some extra help here and we finally got down to finishing off this project.
I hope your don't get tired of seeing what projects we do. We really enjoy modding and creating stuff.
The plus side is once we finish a project we get to share with all of you. Modding is not just my job it's my and our hobby.
Anyways here are few pics of our creation. We will starting adding it to our line up of products this weekend.
Sorry for any spelling errors, it's 2:30am here!

That's awesome looking. Is that a Halo 2 fan grill on the top of it? Are you guys going to make custom grills now for those?

| We also wanted to be able to get all our parts locally so we would never run out of stock. Task acomplished. These due take time to build so we are limiting a total of 20 orders per week so the we we don't get behind on orders. |

^^^ wow, whats up your ass today? You dont like it, then bugger off! Nobody needs your blessing...you can go stroke your ugly typical chrome xbox, hopefully that will calm you down.
Its a nice product, and it looks very well done, hope it sells well

Looks cool, sounds fair for a price...
Anyone who thinks the price is high, try making that yourself for $65. It won't be as good and you will probably spend more... (Of course there are the select few on this site that could take a milk jug and make a bad ass acrylic case, but my comment is for the masses)

If i am seeing in the picture right the controller ports look upside down. And i just tested to see if you can plug ur controller in when it is upside down and you can't you have to flip the dongle around so hopefully i am seeing wrong because if you do the dongle mod like i did you won't even be able to see it light up it will just shine to the ground. but other than that i kinda like it Good work.

80 bucks is a lot for a case. If these are all done by hand, then maybe i can understand 80 bucks for the labor and the craftsmanship, but in a machine factory, i wouldn't pay over 40.

Yes, the price is indeed high, I also would not pay that amount. But that is no excuse for some people to bust out crazy insults and bashing. As it turns out, that is only one ass on this entire thread, not anyone else.
The cut and layout of the case looks great to me, but just for the big spenders.

Hmmmm, shine the dongle light on the ground.......
Holy shit, Garret!! I think you just discovered the next most ghetto what to add underglow to your box!!! invert your controller ports and get ground FX from your dongles!!
next to the hot glue LED roll-yer-own-cathode, (cheers gcskate27!!!) that has to be the most ghetto-tech way to get underglow ever!!

Case looks clean but yes the controller ports are upside down, not somthing I like. Also this case wont fit all xbox dvds, like the philips. Also wont the HD get alittle hot down there with no airflow? This case isnt for me.

Like it all except the Power/Eject.

It just doesn't look clean and what holds it in?
Anyway I like it and will probably have to get one to go with my Xpod and the Xi-Fi when it's done.
And I dare any of you to build a case and sell it for less than 70 and make a profit.

I don't like it. Xpod looks way better, and is cheaper.

(I'm currently incognito.

I contributed a lot to the original xpod review thread, but I recently got a temp ban )
First off, hats off to you for stepping into the case replacement arena. I'm sure a lot of effort and planning went into this.
I'm intrigued. The motherboard-on-top design is definitely different; it leaves a whole lot of room at the top of the front panel of the case, perhaps to mount a HIP or other LCD screen. On the downside, it obscures any DVD "see-thru" mods that may be made.
Speaking about DVD's, have you accounted for mounting the philips DVD drive with the hump at the bottom?
The 120mm fan on top is a bold move; maybe you can consider fabricating a custom 120mm grill that still allows you to mount a "standard" sized xbox jewel in the middle of it?
I'd like to see some kind of accomodations for airflow around the HDD drive(s), even if it's just a front/side/rear vent. (Maybe there is some venting on the side and I just can't discern it from the photos).
The lack of corner cubes and those long bolts have me a concerned about how rigid the case will be.
Can the individual side panels be removed?
Definitely looking forward to seeing some more in-depth pictures!

But that is what modding is for.
Also aobut the comments on the price,
most other cases, of this quality, run at the same.

i am definatly interested in this product, but have afew questions.
1: how solid is the case? i see you say that its made from pretty solid acrylic, but im no engineer

in comparison to the xpod, it doesnt look as sturdy (being screwed together, etc), but i could be wrong!
2: is there ample ventilation to the underside of the mobo? i dont feel comfortable having alot of stagnant air beneath my components.
3: when will the smoke cases be available again? they look great!!!
4: how much is the shipping for this, and what service do you use (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc).
thanks alot!

edit- answered a question on my own
