Not to familier with your type of mod chip but if it has a on\off switch then yes you can go on live. Make sure you lock your new hdd in order to boot to the M$ dashboard. (configmagic) Hope this helps.

With the Xenium, you just add a launch item in the Xenium OS for the retail bios. There isn't a physical switch... Make sure you upgrade your harddrive and lock it before you sign up for live and you should be fine... I suggest using a Live-Blocking mod bios as well, just to be safe

Xecuter 4983.06 or 4983.67 are good live blocking bios's. 4983.06 = 137gb hdd or lower 4983.67 = 137gb hdd or higher As for the live rumor I think it's just what it is a rumor, I've been playing on live for well over a year now with a 120gb hdd in my xbox and haven't had any problems connecting or getting banned.
