Hello all. I got an xbox 1.6b with an Executer 3 and Slayers Auto installer 2.6. Plays games dandy. When I connect the xbox (FlashXP) to my pc via my 4 port dsl router I can see all the drives on the xbox. Now when I try to explore the dvd rom drive (D:) it shows2 files-one is a data folder and the other is default.xbe (4.9meg), but not the files on the dvdr.
Anyone give me some pointers in what's going wrong please? Thankyou.

what disc are you trying to read? that default.xbe IS the game and needs that other folder's data to run the game.

Hello, I'm trying to read Spiderman 2 game. The 2 files I can see are there whatever game disc i put in the dvd drive. My intention is to copy the files to my pc so I can do a backup of the disc.

maybe i'm misunderstanding you question. i think you can read the contents of a retail disc, but not the contents of a backup? if this is the case, then make sure your backup is in xISO format so your xbox can read it (since your xbox detects a disc, then you are already using compatible media).

if i'm way off, explain your situation a little better

Hi, my game backups are all on dvdr media.

If you switch disks you have to refresh flashfxp for the different files to
show in the D drive for the next disk.

however to make a backup of your original games its better to
back up the game to your XBOX HD using DVD2xbox that automatically
patches the xbe if it needs it. then just find the game folder in your
on your xbox and copy all the files to your pc using flash fxp.
