Just making a quick poll to see about whether the general community is going to purchase Kotor...comment if you'd like

if the reviews are good I'll get it. I loved the first one.

Gonna get in on release. If it's anywhere near as fun as the first KOTOR was to me, I will be playing it for a long time.

i was soo into the first one, went thru twice, light and dark very fun both ways. i'm kinda pushing my paint shedulue to make sure i can put my box back together before the game comes out \m/

Maybe... not. I just don't think the story could be as good as the first one. I'll see what you guys say about it before I divide up any h2 time for it.

man im going to get this game for sure but im not sure if this game is going to be as good as the first one I read it was made by a different company

Im a little aprehensive about this one seeing as how it wasn't made by one of my favourite developers (BioWare).

XBox 2 will be nearing release before KOTOR2 is out over here.

I can't believe you guys haven't been following this game closer.

It's being made by Obsidian Entertainment, with Chris Avellone as the main designer. He was the main designer on Planescape Torment, and quite frankly every single RPG the Obsidian crew is responsible for (formed by the best designers from the now defunct Black Isle Studios) is great.

These guys also have a history of taking Bioware engines, and making better games with them.

This game will be better than KOTOR:1.

Damnit, I tried KoToR but I couldnt get into it, ill have to force my self to like it and I know it gets better the further you get into the game.

I found the game fairly easy, and the combat a bit boring. But the story is pretty good, and the game was more enjoyable when I finally became a Jedi.

I can't wait to get my hands on this. I really enjoyed the first and played it through several times to try the various paths offered to you.

I think its pretty stupid this games starts almost exactly as the first did.

it looks like the main problem is that its on the same engine as the first, so the graphics are the same.

The only thing that disapointed me with KOTOR was the fighting, it was crap (IMo and I know I am in the minority) but I will defenatly be getting KOTOR 2, i am considering importing it as it aint out here untill Febuary I beleive

i want to get this game, but i want it cheaper! does anyone remember how long it took for the first KotOR to drop in price?

apparently compusa is having a buy 2 get 1 free sale tomorrow, and i might pick those two up and burnout 3. works out to be $36 per title. good deal?

It took close to two months to go down to $40 used. I know b/c I tried to sell mine and they were only gonna give me $8 for it and then turn around and sell it for $40.

He told me that and I walked out the store w/o saying a word.

Needless to say I found a guy that bought it for $30.

We have to wait untill February here in the UK . I will def get it, might get an import from the US.
