No.
The xbox has no interface for an LCD without a modchip.
You can install it, but it won't do anything.

X3, SmartXX or Xenium all have LCD support.. I'm using a SmartXX so far and I really enjoy it.

indeed, x3
I personally wouldn't get the LCD. I have a 20x4 LCD on my desktop PC, and it is very handy. I can check my CPU usage and RAM usage, temps, fan speeds etc while playing games or watching movies or anything at a glance. It seems to me that the LCD is only slightly useful when running XBMC or something to get song and artist titles. If you run your xbox as a media machine without being attached to a tv. Sorta useful I suppose. If you like to show off your box and want people to gawk at your LCD. Sorta usefule I suppose.
I havn't seen, however, any place indicating that you can have a constant readout of RAM, Fanspeed, Temps, etc with the LCD so not entirely useful imo.

If you are talking about the quote in my sig, that's not me talking. Plus, it can't be done. Please stay on topic. But if you are talking about the lcd mod, then yes, it can be done. It's simple. Just install the chip like you would a pinheader, plug in the LCD (which you would get from there site and make sure that you have a tsop flash or a softmod) and vualla, a LCD.
