Hi I want to install a 400 GB hard drive on my xbox but I have a really old modchip, aladdin >> all so know i think as pandora2.

This is a none flashable Bios > some 1 said to me thou that it is possible some how to flash the bios on my xbox so it can support a larger hard drive.

Is this possible ?? if so wot do I need to do ?

not sure about flashing the chip, but you can use PBL to load a new bios after booting

just get PBL, put it on C named evoxdash.xbe (or xboxdash.xbe, whatever your chip loads) and let it load a newer bios (make sure if it evoxdash that you set the new bios to load a different xbe, like F:/evoxdash.xbe or C:/evox2dash.xbe otherwise it will loop)

were can I download PBL ?? or is this as illegal as evolution X ?

Yes it is pheonix bios loader and no do not follow that guide. That is for softmodding an xbox.
Search around the forums for a guide on using JUST PBL.
