I was wandering if it was possible to share an internet connection with a stock xbox. I currently have a modded xbox and I am sharing my internet connection from my laptop to my xbox through a crossover cable. Is this same setup possible with a stock xbox so he can get on xbox live. We tried the same setup that I have, as far as I know, but we cannot connect to live. Am I just doing something wrong or does he need a modded xbox. Please help with some suggestions. Thanks

Thanks for the help, but that wasn't exactly what I was asking. I guess in other terms, instead of hooking the xbox directly to the router, we have a computer connected to the router wirelessly then the xbox connected to that computer with a crossover cable. I was wondering what the config would be to get internet connectivity to the xbox so we could get on xbox live?

that one.
Share the internet on the PC (NIC card), hook up the box with the crossover, it should work
