HELP! I just installed an xecuter 2.6 on a v1.0 xbox and I can't get it to boot. I've tried flashing the chip with the EVOX M8 BIOS, X2 4979-4983, and it just FRAGs on bootup, but only when the chip is activated. Any help would be much appreciated!

Pinheader install or quick solder? Check for lose connections and lose D0. Make sure nothing is shorting.

i recently had the same problem, xbox would not boot from ANY bios apart from one called CPX V1.0 (3977) or something that like.
its on the firefuckers install disc if you have that.

D0 is ok, if you have done the wire install then try the pin header. Some people can get the pinheader to work but not the wire install on their V.1.

I tried installing the chip into another v1.0 and it didn't work. But installed my 2.2pro and it worked fine. What's wrong with v1.0?!
