Since the 15-12-2004 (or 12/15/2004 for non-Europeans)-build i can't connect to SMB anymore. I use a share on my server as default for My Music and My videos. When i select one XBMC just stops responding. Tried all the tricks, removing everything and reinstalling, doesn't seem to make a difference. Anyone had this experience?

Haven't tried to remove the SMB default, gonna try it now

Seems to occur only if smb is used in the default-tag of a section....

It's likely unrelated to SMB.

Delete your database files: XBMC/albums/*.db

Yepp, try what jm said couse it works fine on both the rigs i have running.

Gonna try this tommorrow, will let you know if it solves the problem.

i was having that same problem. I tried that suggestion, and it worked. I can now access my folders again. Thanx!!!
